Homework Expectations
A piece of Maths will be assigned every Friday - this will be in the CGP book provided or as a worksheet that supplements the class learning. This should be bought back into school each Friday so new work can be set..
Children on the book band scheme.
Children will be given a reading book weekly, please read for 10 minutes each night. Reading books will be changed on a Friday - unless your child finishes their book early. In this case they can bring their book back and change it themselves. All new books should be recorded in their diaries.
Children continuing on the RWI scheme.
Children will need have their books changed on a Wednesday by the group teacher.
Please send books in daily as children will have the first 10 minutes of everyday in class to read their books.
Occasionally, homework will be assigned in other subjects. When this happens details of what to do and due dates will be on that homework.
Thank you for supporting your children to do their homework.
