Homework Expectations

Every Friday your child will be given 2 new RWI books to read as often as possible, building on fluency and speed with each read. Please write sign/comment in your child’s reading diary when they have read their book.

Books need to be returned the following Wednesday so a new book can be given out. It is important reading books are returned otherwise, there is a charge to pay for a replacement book.

CGP homework books will be sent out on a Friday. The pages to complete will be set by the teacher. You will work through two pages per week.

Please return the books on a Wednesday so they can be checked. Pupils may require support with this homework, particularly until they get used to using the books.
