Learning Over the Year

Key PE Information

Your PE day will be on a Monday. Please come to school in your PE kit.

Your kit should consist of a house coloured t-shirt, black shorts or joggers and pumps or trainers. You can also wear a black hoodie or sweater to keep you warm outdoors.

Key Forest School Information

Your Forest School day is a Tuesday.

These sessions are lead by Mrs Wildman who is a trained forest school practitioner. Make sure you bring layers of clothing to keep warm in the outdoors. You will need wellies and a coat.

Please make sure names are in clothing so we can identify who it belongs to.

Homework Expectations

Every Friday your child will be given 2 new RWI books to read as often as possible, building on fluency and speed with each read. Please write sign/comment in your child’s reading diary when they have read their book.

Books need to be returned the following Wednesday so a new book can be given out. It is important reading books are returned otherwise, there is a charge to pay for a replacement book.

CGP homework books will be sent out on a Friday. The pages to complete will be set by the teacher. You will work through two pages per week.

Please return the books on a Wednesday so they can be checked. Pupils may require support with this homework, particularly until they get used to using the books.
