Our Daily Routines:
Your start time is 8:45am via KS2 doors, top main school gate. Doors will open at 8:40 daily.
Your finish time is 3:15pm via the school office. Please wait just outside this area.
PE
Your PE day is on Thursday. P.E. kits should stay in school for the half-term.
Your kit should consist of a relevant house colour t-shirt, black shorts or joggers and pumps or trainers. You can also wear a black hoodie or sweater to keep you warm outdoors.
Homework / Reading Books
Maths: Maths homework is set each Friday using Learning by Questions, which all children have login details for. The work will automatically be assessed so teachers can identify areas for development.
Spellings: Every week new spellings will be assigned on Spelling Shed for children to practice. Opportunities to practice these will be available during the week with a test of the ten words completed at the end of the week.
As well as the maths and handwriting homework, children have various logins where they are able to complete online activities. Such as:
Times Table Rock Stars
Reading Plus
Reading books and diaries - Children need to bring their reading book and diary to school every day. This is so they have an opportunity to read with an adult on a daily basis. Children are able to and are expected to change their books weekly or when needed.
