Art and Design Skills

During this unit we created a simple weaving picture.  We worked hard weave the paper under and over to create a checkerboard.  

We also worked within 6 boxes, filling each with a line that starts at one edge and finishes at  another. We experimented with tone by shading the different areas the lines had made.

Whilst designing a rollercoaster ride, we developed our painting skills.  We had to make sure that we used the right amount of paint, held the brush correctly and used single,sweeping strokes.

We then completed a lesson about drawing for fun.  We had to identify the basic shapes within different images and objects to helpus draw them.
