Nursery Maths Provision

In Nursery, we build strong mathematical foundations through play and exploration. We use Concept Cat to introduce and practise key mathematical vocabulary in a fun and engaging way, helping children to develop a deep understanding of early maths concepts.

Mathematical language and ideas are also woven into our continuous provision, where children have daily opportunities to explore number, shape, space, pattern, and measure in meaningful contexts. This approach ensures that children can apply and practise their maths learning through hands-on activities, problem solving, and imaginative play.

Our aim is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and enjoyment in mathematics from the very beginning of each child’s learning journey.
