Online Safety

At Hanbury's Farm Community Primary School, we teach Online Safety through weekly computing lessons, PATHS sessions, assemblies and having regular Online Safety Awareness Days.

We also promote the importance of online safety each time children access computing software, by ensuring they are aware of the PCE Monitoring Solution in place and accept the terms of use.

Children are taught that Online Safety, is as important as Stanger Danger, and the appropriate protocol is followed according to their age and stage of development.

Our next Online Safety awareness day in school will be held on -

Tuesday 7th February 2017

Online Safety Update

The NSPCC and O2 have launched a campaign to illustrate how innocent searches online can lead to not so innocent results.

This highlights how using parental controls to block or filter content can help keep children safe online and includes information on how to set up parental controls on mobiles and tablets, home computers, search engines and games consoles.
